November SFYTT!

Hello! I hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving! No thanksgiving here in NZ, but we are celebrating today by putting up the tree and enjoying a nice family meal.

I'm popping in with a card for the November Sketch For You To Try. There is still a teeny bit of time to get your card in to be in to win!

I had a lot of fun making this card with lots of new Reverse Confetti goodies - the stamps are from North Pole Wishes and I've also used the matching Confetti Cuts. I've cut the Let it Snow Confetti Cuts from Vellum and the background was created with some stitched together Triple Chevies

Thanks for stopping by, have a lovely weekend!

Happy Thanksgiving + IHP SALE!!

Happy Thanksgiving! Before I get to my card today, it's SALE time at i {heart} papers!

Time to get shopping! If you're stuck for ideas, I've used lots of goodies from IHP on my card today.

I've used the Winter Wreath stamp set and matching dies to create this Thank You card - I love that this set works for a variety of occasions! I've used Avery Elle ink in Kraft (you need this!) and Papaya and Memento Luxe in Cocoa.

The paper collection is Indian Summer.

I've cut the layers with the Finished Frames dies and embellished with some enamel dots

Let me know if you spend spend spend (and save save save!) at IHP - there are some amazing goodies in stock right now!

Donut Know (A Goodbye) + Burlap Tag Video!

Before I get to my card today....I'm over on the Reverse Confetti blog today with a video and some pretty tags! I'd love it if you'd come on over and check them out!

Onto my card...

Linda is having a BLAST since her retirement and has made the decision to retire the Recipe Swap challenges at Catered Crop. Thank you SO MUCH for having me as one of your little chefs Linda! I donut know what I'll do without this fun challenge...

I've used sketch #100 (congrats ladies!) from Case This Sketch as the basis of my card. The sketch is just PERFECT for the new Triple Chevies Confetti Cuts from Reverse Confetti! I layered my chevies, adding some stitched details to some.

The stamp set is, of course, Donut You Know and I've also used the Donut You Know Confetti Cuts

That's all for now - I have a little something in my eye it seems, saying goodbye is hard!

Regal Thanks!

Hi there! I'm popping in with a card using some wplus9 from i {heart} papers today!

Normally, purple is my stamping nemesis! But I like how this card turned out - purple and gold is a winner! The paper is the Everyday Collection from Avery Elle cut with the Finished Frames die. Inks are Memento Luxe. The stamps are More Fresh Cuts wth the matching dies. I've also used the Hand Lettered Thanks Die.

Thanks for stopping by!

25 Days of Christmas Tags!

Today I'm excited to be joining some of the Reverse Confetti crew and Tracey McNeely for her 25 Days of Christmas Tags event!

There are prizes to be won each day, so make sure you stop over and see all the gorgeous tags!

I got a little distressed with my tag! I heat embossed a stripe from So Stripey and a sentiment from Tinsel 'n Trim. After embossing, I used a distressing tool to rough up the edges, and also remove some of the embossing powder.

The tag base is from Tag Me Too and I embellished with some gold Let it Snow and Circle Garland Confetti Cuts

Winnie & Walter Playdate!

As Mama to a toddler, I know all about Playdates, but usually they are not quite so fun (for me at least!)

I'm playing along with the Winnie & Walter Playdate #4 today.

With this gorgeous color palette, I just couldn't resist! Silver is still my fave metallic ever and I knew I wanted to ink up the Tree For All Seasons stamp set.

The dark olive I used was a little deeper than the palette, but overall I think I hit all the colors!

I stamped the tree, sponged in a little ground, then used some silver stickles to ice up the branches and ground.

I shopped at i {heart} papers for my supplies: the paper is  All Bundled Up by Carta Bella, The dies are Finished Frames by Avery Elle, inks are Memento Luxe in Espresso Truffle and Olive and the wood veneer is Lawn Fawn. And of course the stamp set is A Tree For All Seasons by Winne & Walter.

Reverse Confetti New Release Blog Hop + Video!

Well, the holidays are right around the corner and REVERSE CONFETTI has just released a collection of new products that will help get you in a festive mood and give you a jumpstart on your holiday crafting!

With 4 stamp sets and 7 new Confetti Cuts dies/sets, there’s plenty to choose from. You can even sprinkle your projects with a little donut love without having to go up a jean size! So put on some of your favorite music (Christmas, perhaps?), sit back and join us for our new release blog hop

The hop started over on the ReverseConfetti blog, and you should have made it here from Laurie’sblog. It would be worth your while to start at the beginning of the hop, so you don’t miss a thing. We have tons of inspiration for you to see using all the new Reverse Confetti stamp sets and dies!

I have a couple of things to share today - using the fab new Donut You Know Confetti cuts! I'll also share a quick video giving you a closer look at this fun die set!

My first project is a tag - the base is Tag Me, Too and I've cut it a few times, stitching the pieces together for a longer tag. The sentiment is from Seasonal Sentiments and I used the Donut You Know Confetti Cuts to create a Christmas pudding! The holly is from the North Pole Wishes Confetti Cuts.

You can see how easy it was to create the pudding in this video...

My second project is a little box...with a surprise gift inside! I've used both the Donut You Know stamps and Confetti Cuts on this one - the box is the fabulous Tagged Tote. I added some stitched detail and the sentiment is stamped on the flag from Tag Me.

Inside is a teeny donut pincushion! I stitched the frosting and sprinkles to one layer of the donut, stitched it together inside out and turned the right way before stuffing. Felt is tricky, and the stitches are visible but I still think it's cute (and you may be a much better seamstress than I am!)

I hope you’ve enjoyed hopping with us today. Be sure and hop with us on the 8th of EVERY MONTH for more REVERSE CONFETTI inspiration! Now it’s time to hop on over to Susan’s blog

If you get lost along the way, you can find the hop order and list of all the participating designers over on the Reverse Confetti blog.

A few things before you hop along though, just to keep you “in the know”…

November’s SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY is open for you to play along. Click HERE for a chance to win and become our newest ‘Fetti Fave!

Celebrate the creative side of you!
